Butler's Final Four teams of 2010 and 2011 were his proving ground — Mack started alongside Gordon Hayward on the squad that came one half-court heave from beating Duke for the national title. Five NBA seasons of short contracts followed until a February 2016 trade brought him to Utah, reuniting him with Hayward and coach Quin Snyder. Within days he was the starting point guard, and that March he scored a career-high 27 against Washington.
After stops in Orlando, Memphis and Charlotte and a season with Olimpia Milano in Italy, Mack swapped the court for the studio. The Lexington, Kentucky native now works as a basketball analyst for CBS Sports.
HOW HE CAME & WENTA three-team trade with Atlanta and Chicago sent him to Utah on February 18, 2016, reuniting him with his Butler teammate Gordon Hayward. After the Jazz traded for Ricky Rubio in June 2017 he left in free agency for Orlando.
