Raul Neto

Brazil's 'Raulzinho' came up through Minas Tenis Clube and Spain's Liga ACB before the Jazz, who had held his draft rights since 2013, brought him over in 2015. He started his very first NBA game, made the 2016 Rising Stars Challenge for the World Team, and gave Utah four seasons of steady backup point guard play until the Mike Conley trade squeezed him off the roster in 2019.

Philadelphia, Washington, and Cleveland followed. A knee injury suffered playing for Brazil at the 2023 World Cup cost him nearly a year and his Fenerbahce contract, but Neto kept going — short stints back home and at FC Barcelona, then San Pablo Burgos in Spain from 2025.

HOW HE CAME & WENTAtlanta drafted him 47th overall in 2013 and traded his rights to Utah on draft night. He broke his Spanish contract to take the NBA chance in 2015, and was waived on July 2, 2019 as a consequence of the Mike Conley trade.
