For many of them, this page is the only one on the internet. Here is Ronnie Price: what he did on the floor, a few things most people never knew, and every card that carries his name. No scholarship offers came for the 5-foot-7 senior out of Friendswood, Texas, so Price walked on at Nicholls State, grew six inches, and transferred to Utah Valley State — where a 24.3-point senior season made him the school's first NBA player. Undrafted, he broke in with Sacramento, then signed with the Jazz in 2007 and spent four seasons backing up Deron Williams. His signature moment: a chase-down block of Luke Walton in the 2008 playoffs, delivered with four fresh stitches over his eye.
Phoenix, Portland, Orlando, and the Lakers followed, with career-best assist and steal numbers in Los Angeles in 2014-15. Price stayed in the game after retiring, working as a scout for the Phoenix Suns.
HOW HE CAME & WENTUndrafted, he signed with Utah in July 2007 and stayed four seasons, the longest stop of a twelve-year career. After the 2011 lockout the Jazz did not bring him back, signing Jamaal Tinsley and Keith McLeod instead. He joined Phoenix that December.

RONNIE PRICE · 7 NOTES- Came out of Utah Valley, then a small program in Orem, about 40 miles south of Salt Lake City.
- He was once ejected from a Lakers preseason game for hurling his shoe at the ball during an opponent's fastbreak.
- The season before he signed with Utah he dunked over Carlos Boozer against the Jazz, a play NBA.com panelists ranked among the season's most memorable.
- He left high school on the honor roll with a 3.4 grade average and not one basketball scholarship offer.
- Utah Valley inducted him into its Hall of Fame in February 2010, at halftime of a game in the gym where he had starred.
- Since 2018 he has worked as a scout for the Phoenix Suns, the last team he played for.
- When Price signed with Phoenix in December 2011, Tyrone Corbin said 'He's a tremendous competitor' and that the team was 'going to really miss him'.
