Newark's East Side High produced a New Jersey Player of the Year who became Big East Player of the Year at Villanova in 2006, beating out Rudy Gay for the honor. Drafted seventh overall that June, Foye was traded twice before playing a game, landing in Minnesota, where he made the All-Rookie First Team and once grabbed 16 rebounds — a Timberwolves record for a guard.

Washington and the Clippers followed, including a 32-point night against Boston in 2011 and starts in all 11 of Los Angeles's playoff games in 2012 after Chauncey Billups went down. He then spent the 2012-13 season with the Jazz, the Utah stop in a career that took him to seven NBA teams.

HOW HE CAME & WENTUtah signed him as a free agent in July 2012 for one year at about $2.5 million and he set the franchise record with 178 three-pointers. In July 2013 the Jazz sign-and-traded him to Denver for a second-round pick.
