Everything about the Dnipropetrovsk center came oversized — 7'1", a size 18 shoe, a 7'4" wingspan. Drafted 38th in 2007 by Philadelphia and traded to Utah, Fesenko debuted that November against the Lakers when Boozer and Okur were hurt, posting 6 points and 7 rebounds, and spent four seasons in the Jazz organization while shuttling to the Utah Flash.
The itinerary afterward reads like an atlas: Donetsk, Wroclaw, the D-League, Saratov, Cantu, Monaco, Avellino, Iran's Sanaye Hormozgan, and finally Al-Nasr of Libya's top division — a Ukrainian giant who kept finding somewhere in the world to play.
HOW HE CAME & WENTPhiladelphia took him 38th overall in 2007 and traded him to Utah at once. He signed a three-year deal that August. A fractured right thumb ended his fourth season early and the Jazz let his one-year contract expire in 2011.
