Flip was ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Tournament MVP as a Duke freshman, leading all Division I freshmen with 16 double-doubles, then returned for a sophomore season that included a court-storming collision at Wake Forest. A fifth-year prep player from upstate New York, Filipowski won 3x3 under-18 World Cup gold in 2021 alongside Keyonte George and Gradey Dick. He signed with Utah in August 2024 and split his rookie season between the Jazz and the Salt Lake City Stars.
