Kyle Filipowski

Flip was ACC Rookie of the Year and ACC Tournament MVP as a Duke freshman, leading all Division I freshmen with 16 double-doubles, then returned for a sophomore season that included a court-storming collision at Wake Forest. Projected as a first-rounder, he slid on draft night in 2024 amid rumors about his personal life — the Jazz, who had run their own background check, gladly took him 32nd.

A fifth-year prep player from upstate New York, Filipowski won 3x3 under-18 World Cup gold in 2021 alongside Keyonte George and Gradey Dick. He signed with Utah in August 2024 and split his rookie season between the Jazz and the Salt Lake City Stars.

HOW HE CAME & WENTProjected as a late first-rounder, he fell to Utah at 32nd overall in June 2024 and signed that August. Sent to the Salt Lake City Stars as a rookie, he started 41 games in 2025-26.
