Belmont retired his No. 21 — he started every game of his college career and shared Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year honors in 2013. Undrafted, Clark scored 33 points to win MVP of the Las Vegas Summer League title game, and the Jazz signed him to a two-year deal that July, his first NBA contract. Two seasons in Utah led eventually to Golden State, where he won a championship in 2017.
The game has carried him around the world since: two seasons in China, an Australian NBL title with the Sydney Kings in 2022, and most recently the Cangrejeros de Santurce in Puerto Rico. Memphis first saw the shooting touch, at Germantown High School.
HOW HE CAME & WENTUndrafted, he signed a two-year contract on July 29, 2013 after winning summer league MVP, spent his rookie season shuttling to the D-League alongside Rudy Gobert, and was waived on March 26, 2015.
