Forrest scored more than 3,000 points at Chipley High in the Florida panhandle and won a state title there before four years at Florida State, where he made Second Team All-ACC and won the Skip Prosser Award as the conference's top scholar-athlete — he once played through torn cartilage in his big toe without missing a game. Undrafted in 2020, he signed a two-way deal with the Jazz that November and earned a standard contract by April 2022.
After two-way seasons in Atlanta, Forrest took his defense-first game abroad, joining Baskonia in Spain in 2024 and signing a multi-year contract with Fenerbahce in July 2026.
HOW HE CAME & WENTUndrafted in 2020, he signed as a rookie free agent that November and Utah converted his two-way deal into a standard contract in April 2022. The Jazz passed on a qualifying offer that June, and Atlanta signed him in August.
