Steve Novak

Wisconsin's high school player of the year became a Marquette sharpshooter who reached the 2003 Final Four with Dwyane Wade and once hung 41 points on second-ranked UConn. Drafted 32nd by Houston in 2006, he built a long NBA career on one elite skill — in 2011-12 with the Knicks he led the league in three-point percentage at 47.2, and Walt Frazier nicknamed him Novakaine. Utah acquired him from Toronto in July 2014 for Diante Garrett.

His 2012-13 turnover rate remains the lowest single-season mark the league has recorded. These days Novak sits behind a different kind of microphone, analyzing New York Knicks games on MSG Networks.

HOW HE CAME & WENTToronto traded him to Utah for Diante Garrett on July 10, 2014. He did not last the season — on February 19, 2015 the Jazz moved him to Oklahoma City in a three-team deal.
