Raymond Brown

His college stage was the University of Idaho, and his NBA one was Salt Lake City — 16 games with the Jazz during the 1989-90 season, the entirety of his time in the league.

That same winter he shone a level down, earning CBA All-Rookie Team honors with the Rapid City Thrillers, a season that shows how narrow the line was between an NBA bench and the bus leagues.

HOW HE CAME & WENTUtah invited him to camp, signed him in September 1989 and waived him a month later — then signed him back for the rest of the season in February 1990.
