Otto Moore

Few big men logged more games without a single playoff appearance — 682, second only to Tom Van Arsdale. The 6-foot-11 center from Texas-Pan American gave nine seasons to Detroit, Phoenix, Houston, Kansas City-Omaha, and the New Orleans Jazz, twice averaging a double-double and ranking eighth in the league in blocks in 1975-76 as a Jazzman.

The Fort Pierce, Florida native finally found his championship abroad. In 1979 he joined Royal Tru-Orange in the Philippines, and paired with high-scoring Larry Pounds, the tandem carried the club to the 1979 Open Conference title.

HOW HE CAME & WENTKansas City-Omaha cut him in July 1974 and Detroit in November, so New Orleans signed him as a free agent on January 21, 1975. He finished eighth in the league in blocks the next season and moved to Italy after 1976-77.
