Undrafted out of Nebraska — where he helped win the 1996 NIT, the school's first basketball championship of any kind — Moore ground through the CBA and D-League into a nine-team NBA journey that included the 2003–04 Jazz. The peak came in New Jersey in 2006–07: 9.8 points a game and a league-best .609 field goal percentage, the first undrafted player ever to lead the NBA in that category.

The resume tells the journeyman's story — D-League Defensive Player of the Year, All-CBA honors, final minutes with the Reno Bighorns in 2013. At Nebraska the 7-footer, whose name is pronounced 'MY-key,' was also famous for joining hacky-sack circles outside the dorms.

HOW HE CAME & WENTUndrafted, the journeyman big joined Utah on a 10-day contract in January 2004 and finished the 2003-04 season there — one stop of nine in the NBA — and was with the Clippers the following year.
