Both of his parents served in the United States Army, and their son's game grew with matching discipline at Indiana — from 2.4 points a game as a freshman to second-team All-Big Ten honors as a junior averaging 16.5. Undrafted in 2019, Morgan signed a two-way contract with Utah that November and spent two seasons between the Jazz and the Salt Lake City Stars.
The travels since have been eventful: a 10-day with Toronto, then a spring 2022 contract with Boston that carried him all the way to the NBA Finals, where the Celtics fell to Golden State in six games. He went on to Runa Basket Moscow and now plays for Budućnost VOLI of the ABA League.
