A soccer-playing kid from Kansas City who grew nine inches in high school, Agbaji left Kansas a legend of the program: consensus first-team All-American, Big 12 Player of the Year, and Most Outstanding Player of the 2022 Final Four as the Jayhawks won it all. Cleveland drafted him 14th, then shipped him to Utah in the Donovan Mitchell trade before he ever played a game for the Cavaliers.
Two Jazz seasons brought a 28-point night against Denver. Toronto acquired him in February 2024, where he posted career-best numbers in 2024-25, and a three-team deal sent him to Brooklyn in February 2026.
