A Rancho Cucamonga kid who grew up idolizing Kobe Bryant, Fitts started at South Florida and finished at Saint Mary's, where he was first-team All-West Coast Conference as a junior. Undrafted in 2020, he broke in with the Clippers, then signed with the Jazz in September 2021 on a two-way deal, splitting time between Utah and the Salt Lake City Stars.
Waived in January 2022, he landed on his feet — within weeks Boston signed him, and he finished the year on a Celtics team that reached the 2022 NBA Finals. He now plays in France for Boulazac Basket Dordogne.
HOW HE CAME & WENTHe joined the Jazz for training camp in September 2021 with no two-way slot open, split the season with the Salt Lake City Stars, and was waived on January 13, 2022.
