One collector is trying to find a single signature from every man who ever played for the Jazz — all 370 of them, from the 1974 New Orleans team to today. For many of them, this page is the only one on the internet. Here is Juancho Hernangómez: what he did on the floor, a few things most people never knew, and every card that carries his name. If you own something he signed — or you know who might — there is a note at the foot of this page.
Madrid-born and named the ACB's Best Young Player with Estudiantes, Hernangómez went 15th to Denver in the 2016 draft. Utah acquired him at the February 2022 deadline and waived him that June, and after a final NBA season in Toronto he returned to Europe and won the 2024 EuroLeague title with Panathinaikos.
For Spain he owns 2019 World Cup gold and the EuroBasket 2022 crown, where he poured in a game-high 27 points in the final against France. American audiences may know him from co-starring alongside Adam Sandler in the 2022 Netflix basketball film Hustle.
HOW HE CAME & WENTSan Antonio sent him to Utah on February 9, 2022 in the three-team deal that sent Joe Ingles to Portland. The Jazz waived him on June 30 rather than guarantee his $6.6 million salary.
