They called him the 'Man of Steal' at Providence, where Eric Murdock set an NCAA career steals record that stood until 2002. Utah drafted him 21st overall in 1991 for one season before his best years came in Milwaukee — 82 games and 15.3 points a night in 1993–94, plus immortality as a playable character in NBA Jam.

- Nicknamed Man of Steal, he once swiped the ball nine times in a single game.
- On January 24, 1995, he hit a 75-footer at the third-quarter buzzer against Houston.
- In 1996-97 he led Teamsystem Bologna to the Italian championship finals, averaging 19.2 points in nearly 36 minutes a night.
