Damian Jones

A Vanderbilt center taken 30th by Golden State in 2016, he collected two championship rings as a young reserve on the 2017 and 2018 Warriors, then settled into the life of a traveling big man. Utah acquired him at the February 2023 trade deadline and he finished the season with 19 games for the Jazz.

Basketball has since carried him from Cleveland to leagues overseas, most recently in Puerto Rico with the Vaqueros de Bayamon — a decade as a professional built on the frame that once blocked 167 shots at Vanderbilt.

HOW HE CAME & WENTHe arrived on February 9, 2023 in the three-team deal that sent Russell Westbrook to Utah, picked up his player option to stay, and was traded to Cleveland on July 8, 2023.
