Collin Sexton

The Young Bull from Marietta, Georgia announced himself at Alabama with a 40-point game finished three-on-five, and Cleveland drafted him eighth in 2018. He led the Cavaliers in scoring two straight years, peaking at a career-best 24.3 points per game in 2020–21, before a sign-and-trade brought him to Utah in the summer of 2022 for two seasons.

He has since moved on to Charlotte and the Los Angeles Lakers. The son of Darnell and Gia Sexton, he has been playing the game since he was three years old.

HOW HE CAME & WENTHe came to Utah on September 3, 2022 in the Donovan Mitchell trade, signed and traded on a four-year, $72 million deal. Clearing backcourt room after drafting Ace Bailey and Walter Clayton Jr., the Jazz sent him to Charlotte for Jusuf Nurkic on June 29, 2025.

Nicknamed Young Bull for his attacking style.
In college he famously scored 40 points against Minnesota while shorthanded Alabama played much of the second half three-on-five.
As a rookie he scored 23 or more points in seven straight games, the first NBA rookie to do so since Tim Duncan in 1998.
Led the United States to the 2016 Under-17 world title in Zaragoza and was named tournament MVP.
Dropped a career-high 42 points in a double-overtime win over the Nets team of Irving, Durant and Harden.
