Tom Boswell

A 6-foot-9 forward from the University of South Carolina, Boswell broke in with the 1975-76 Boston Celtics and earned a championship ring as a rookie. He played six NBA seasons in all for the Celtics, Nuggets, and Jazz, averaging 7.7 points per game, with his Jazz stop coming in 1979-80.

International honors came first: Boswell played for the United States at the 1974 FIBA World Championship and brought home a bronze medal.

HOW HE CAME & WENTDenver traded him to Utah for a second-round pick on November 20, 1979 and the Jazz waived him in October 1980. He won an Italian title with Cantu, played a CBA season, then came back to Utah for 1983-84, his last NBA year.
