Sean Green

Queens playgrounds and the Riverside Church AAU program — where teammates included Kenny Anderson and Malik Sealy — set him on a path through Oak Hill Academy, a year under Jim Valvano at NC State, and a 23.2-point senior season at Iona. Indiana drafted him 41st in 1991, and in 1994 he came to the Jazz in the trade that brought Jeff Hornacek to Utah, finishing his NBA career there.

Eight more pro years spanned Venezuela to the Philippines. Back home, Green became a certified triathlon coach, turned a Connecticut prep school's girls team from 4-14 into league champions, trained actors like Philip Seymour Hoffman, and hosts the 'Let Me Cook' podcast.

HOW HE CAME & WENTHe came to Utah midway through 1993-94 in the trade that brought Jeff Hornacek from Philadelphia, and it was the end of his NBA road.
