Rickey Williams

Buffalo gave him his start, and The Buffalo News never forgot, naming the 1974 All-Western New York first-teamer to its all-time area team in 2009. The point guard played at Long Beach State and New Mexico, and the Jazz drafted him in the tenth round in 1978, back when the franchise still called New Orleans home.

His NBA moment came later, and in Utah: the 1982-83 season, when he averaged 3.3 points in his lone year in the league.

HOW HE CAME & WENTNew Orleans drafted him 190th overall in 1978 and traded his rights to Chicago a year later. He came back as a free agent in September 1982 and was waived the following October.
