Richard Jefferson

Seventeen NBA seasons carried this athletic small forward from back-to-back Finals trips with the Nets to a championship at last with Cleveland in 2016. In between, Utah acquired the former Arizona standout in the 2013 three-team trade that sent Andre Iguodala to Golden State, and he gave the rebuilding Jazz a season of veteran wing play. He also won bronze with the U.S. team at the 2004 Olympics.

Raised in Phoenix by a mother and stepfather who were Christian missionaries, Jefferson moved often as a boy and gave back in scale as a man — a $3.5 million pledge toward Arizona's practice facility, later named in his honor. He retired in 2018 and became an ESPN basketball analyst.
