The Charlotte native took the long way: Florida Gulf Coast, a transfer, then a 20.3-point season at Arkansas-Little Rock before going undrafted in 2019. With the G League's Wisconsin Herd he poured in 23.8 a game — teammates knew him as the guy who fetched water on nights he did not play — and on December 24, 2019, the Jazz signed him for the rest of the season, his defense earning rotation minutes that January.
Since Utah, the itinerary reads like an atlas: Philadelphia, Denver, Milwaukee, Melbourne, Venice, Athens, Puerto Rico, and now the Zhejiang Lions in China — a working pro who never stopped finding the next gym.
