Kyle Korver

The Nets sold his draft rights to Philadelphia for $125,000 in 2003 — money that reportedly covered a new copy machine — and the slight became his rallying cry. Traded to Utah in 2007, Korver shot .536 from three in 2009–10, still the NBA single-season accuracy record, and came back in 2018 for a second Jazz stint. He stands eighth all-time in three-pointers made and led the league in percentage four times.

A pastor's son who grew up on the Showtime Lakers, he was twice Valley Player of the Year at Creighton and returned in 2019 to deliver the commencement keynote. Today he is assistant general manager of the Atlanta Hawks.

HOW HE CAME & WENTPhiladelphia traded him to Utah on December 29, 2007 for Gordan Giricek and a first-round pick — the Jazz badly needed shooting. He signed with Chicago in 2010. Cleveland sent him back in November 2018 for Alec Burks, and he left in the 2019 Mike Conley trade.
