Jarrell Brantley

Charleston kept him home for college, and he left the College of Charleston with 1,914 points, third in program history. Drafted 50th in 2019 and dealt to Utah, Brantley split two seasons between the Jazz and the Salt Lake City Stars on a two-way contract, then came back in 2023 for four more games on a 10-day deal.

His travels since tell a modern journeyman's story: he walked away from UNICS Kazan over the 2022 invasion of Ukraine and was sued for $250,000 for it, then teamed with his brother Jamaal on the New Zealand Breakers — the NBL's first pair of import brothers — before settling in Japan with Nagasaki Velca.

HOW HE CAME & WENTIndiana took him 50th overall in 2019 and traded him to Utah that night. The Jazz waived him at his own request in September 2021 and brought him back on a 10-day contract in March 2023.
