The family kept playing. Son Daniel Deane played at Utah and Oregon State, and daughter Lauren played at Weber State before a professional career in Canada.

HOW HE CAME & WENTThe newly arrived Utah Jazz drafted the local product 67th overall in 1979 and signed him to a multi-year deal. He was waived on November 6.
