The 1991 Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year at Creighton, Gallagher went to Phoenix with the fifth pick of the second round that June. His entire NBA career fits on an index card: two games for the Jazz in February 1994 — three minutes, three shots, three makes, six points — a perfect field-goal percentage for the record books.
Miami signed him in October 1995 but waived him before the season began, and the NBA chapter closed there.
HOW HE CAME & WENTPhoenix's second-round pick in 1991, 32nd overall, reached the floor on a 10-day contract with Utah in February 1994 and left the league having never missed a shot in it — a career field goal percentage of 1.000.
