A St. Louis product from Hazelwood Central, Sneed played 137 games over four years at Kansas State, earning All-Big 12 honorable mention as a senior with 14.2 points a game and one of the conference's best steal rates. Undrafted in 2020, he pushed through the G League and a Memphis 10-day contract before the Jazz signed him to a two-way deal in February 2022, a stay that ended that September.
Since a two-way season in Charlotte, Sneed has built his career overseas — 16.2 points a game for Brindisi in Italy, a year with Bnei Herzliya in Israel, and now Pallacanestro Cantu in the Italian first division.
