Undrafted out of college in 1997, Hudson fought his way onto the Utah Jazz in the fall of 1997 — a roster spot that lasted two months but opened an 11-year NBA career. He developed with Orlando, then peaked in Minnesota with 14.2 points a game in 2002-03, torching Los Angeles for 23.5 a night in the playoffs to earn the nickname Laker Killer and a six-year, $36 million extension.

Music was the parallel career. Recording as a rapper, Hudson released the album Undrafted, cut around 800 songs, and ran his own label, Nutty Boyz Entertainment — even if the album famously sold just 78 copies in its first week.

HOW HE CAME & WENTUndrafted, he fought his way onto the roster and debuted on October 31, 1997 — and the Jazz waived him on December 27, two months later.
