Ron Lee

Fearless hustle defined the man Oregon fans knew as one of the Kamikaze Kids. Lee remains the Ducks' all-time leading scorer with 2,085 points, made first-team All-Pac-8 all four seasons, and went tenth overall to Phoenix in the 1976 draft. He made the 1977 All-Rookie team, led the NBA in steals the next season, and spent 1978-79 with the Jazz.

The Lees were a basketball family from Boston. Older brother Russ was a Marshall All-American and the sixth pick of the 1972 draft, another brother became Finland's all-time leading pro scorer, and nephew Gerald Lee played internationally for Finland. After the NBA, Ron played three years in Italy and entered the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame in 1998.

HOW HE CAME & WENTHe came from Phoenix in the January 1979 trade for Truck Robinson, and the Jazz sent him to Atlanta for two second-round picks that October.
