Raja Bell

Undrafted out of Florida International in 1999, Bell fought up from the CBA — a champion with Yakima in 2000 — to a starring Game 7 in the 2001 Eastern Conference Finals for Philadelphia. His first Jazz stint, 2003 to 2005, brought career-best scoring at 11.2 and then 12.3 points a game. In Phoenix he became a two-time All-Defensive Team pick who led the league with 205 threes in 2006-07 and famously clotheslined Kobe Bryant in the 2006 playoffs, before returning to Utah late in his career.

Born on Saint Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands and raised around Miami, Bell later served as Cleveland's director of player development in 2014-15, then reinvented himself as a podcast host for The Ringer.

HOW HE CAME & WENTUndrafted, he first signed with Utah in 2003 and left for Phoenix in free agency. He returned on a three-year deal in July 2010, but after calling Tyrone Corbin unprofessional in May 2012 he never played for the Jazz again and was waived on March 10, 2013.
