Eric White

San Francisco born, White played four years at Pepperdine before Detroit picked the 6'8" forward in the third round of the 1987 draft. He earned CBA All-Rookie honors with the Mississippi Jets, then reached the NBA with the Clippers and the Jazz between 1987 and 1989, averaging 6.1 points and 2.4 rebounds.

His Utah season came in 1988–89, and Minnesota claimed him in the 1989 expansion draft — a brief window in the league for a power forward whose pro start had come in the minors.

HOW HE CAME & WENTA Clippers second-rounder in 1987, he played 1988-89 in Utah and was taken by Minnesota in the 1989 expansion draft.
