Walt McGary

Walt McGary came to the Jazz on May 28, 1974. Nothing in the transaction record says how it ended — no trade, no release, no second date. The trail simply stops. He never played a minute for them.

The club drafted him and no contract followed.

Date What the record says
May 28, 1974	arrived	1974 NBA draft tenth round pick (#171 overall)

He is not counted among the 370 men in the checklist, because that number is for players who actually took the floor. He is here because he was part of the franchise all the same, and because nobody else has written this down.
