Dennis Boyd

Dennis Boyd came to the Jazz on June 10, 1977 and was gone by September 28, 1977. He never played a minute for them.

He was under contract. The record shows the club waiving him, and a man cannot be waived without first being under contract.

Date What the record says
June 10, 1977	arrived	1977 NBA draft fourth round pick (#72 overall)
September 28, 1977	left	waived

The club that season: 1976–77 New Orleans Jazz · 1977–78 New Orleans Jazz.

He is not counted among the 370 men in the checklist, because that number is for players who actually took the floor. He is here because he was part of the franchise all the same, and because nobody else has written this down.
